Laiya Batangas, La Luz Beach Resort

Laiya is composed of a 5kilometer stretch of white sand beach with "Laiya Coco Grove Resort" on one end and "La Luz Resort" on the other end.

The sand in the La Luz area is not actually sand but small pebbles thus its a bit harder to walk on since your feet sink deep into these small pebbles.

"Dear Guest,

I would like to welcome you to La Luz Resort. La Luz is a small resort on a property that has been privately owned for over 30 years and was recently opened to the public. The resort was only meant to be a hide away for a family of 13 children and hence the many rooms and a large pavilion. Guests normally are surprised that the cottages could be easily filled with just the immediate family alone.

We try our best to maintain a very relaxed atmosphere by keeping the resort very natural. We have gone out of our way to maintain the existing trees and have planted new ones along the way. Native materials have also been chosen as furnishings for the resort. We try our best to keep our environment clean. One way is by raking the beachfront almost everyday. In fact, cigarette butts are painstakingly picked up one by one.

I hope that you would bear with us as we make the necessary adjustments to become a true operational resort and would appreciate guest comments on how we can make you have a better experience. We put a great deal of value on guest comments. In fact, the construction of our new air-conditioned rooms was based on guest requests.

I hope that you enjoy your stay at the resort and please don't hesitate to call on our staff for anything that you may need. "
